Perry used to be a democrat? Didn't know that, but it is becoming more apparent that Mr. Perry is not all the conservative that he claims to be. At least you can look at Ron Paul and say "that man does what he says". Perry made a pledge not to run...now he's ready to go back on that. What else will he go back on? Think about it...

I was unable to verify the actual wording in this video in the Affordable Healthcare Reform Law, and was able to find this article at WND.com (article here) specifying that the current law does not specifically mention RFID, but does leave the door open. Perhaps this video references some earlier versions of the bill? Either way, a chip would be a very convenient way to monitor people in this "system" and it is a massive system...

The idea of shutting down the ability to take video or pictures in certain situations sounds reasonable up front. However, what if there are instances of crime, corruption, or worse that occur at the hands to individuals who hold the power to implement this technology. I see this as ripe for abuse and a possible violation of the 1st Amendment (Freedom of Speech, Press, etc.).
