The idea of shutting down the ability to take video or pictures in certain situations sounds reasonable up front. However, what if there are instances of crime, corruption, or worse that occur at the hands to individuals who hold the power to implement this technology. I see this as ripe for abuse and a possible violation of the 1st Amendment (Freedom of Speech, Press, etc.).
